One of the main attractions of Tenerife are its beaches, and although in the north of the island there are spectacular beaches and spots, today we are going to visit the best beaches in the south of Tenerife. Some of them are located very close to our Kualalumpur Stores.
Whether you’re from the island or you’re spending a few days enjoying it, here are some of the best options for enjoying a weekend in the south of Tenerife.
Whether you’re from the island or spending a few days here, here are some of the best options for enjoying a weekend in the south of Tenerife.
Los Cristianos Beach
One of the most popular beaches in Tenerife South is Los Cristianos beach. As well as enjoying a quiet day here, it has a restaurant area where you can enjoy a good plate of seafood or fresh fish. Very close by you will also find one of our shops of Kualalumpur Stores.
Las Vistas Beach
Just 10 minutes from the beach of Los Cristianos we find the beach of Las Vistas. It is one of the favourite beaches for a family day out, as its waters are not very deep and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset in one of the restaurants in the San Telmo area.
Las Américas
Another of the most popular areas to enjoy the best beaches in the south of Tenerife is Las Américas.
This is the location of our second Kualalumpur store and some of its beaches such as:
- La Troya Beach: Surrounded by the busiest bars and restaurants in Las Americas and a favourite for nightlife when the situation permits. It is also a family beach, as its long breakwaters protect it from the waves.
- El Camisón Beach: surrounded by palm trees and located between Las Américas and Los Cristianos. Shallow waters and breakwaters make it one of the best beaches to enjoy a day at the beach and sunset with the family.
Duque Beach
If you are looking for a relaxing weekend break in the south of Tenerife, we recommend Costa Adeje. Here you will find Duque beach, with golden sand and crystal-clear waters, surrounded by some of the best five-star hotels in Spain. As well as enjoying the hotel facilities and the almost 400-metre long beach, you can also enjoy various water sports on the Duque beach. If you are looking for shade, to the left of the beach you will find some of the cliffs to protect you from the hottest days or you can also book an umbrella and hammock service, typical of the best beaches in the south of Tenerife.
Near here, another recommended beach is Playa Fañabé, with similar characteristics to El Duque Beach. And right next to the departure point for several whale-watching excursions, Puerto Colón, you can enjoy the small beach of La Pinta.
